We LOVE stories like this one… After having her own child, Susan Petersen found herself growing increasingly frustrated at the lack of baby shoes out there, especially ones that would stay on her child’s feet. By the time her second child came around, Petersen decided to take matters into her own hands, literally. Using scrap leather, Petersen played around making shoes for her son. After trial, error + creative money-making methods, Petersen was able to develop the first edition of Freshly Picked Moccasins.
